• How will my battery be delivered and how long will delivery take?
  Delivery is made by specialist courier equipped with the skills to handle batteries in transit. Batteries are usually shipped same day if the goods are in stock for delivery next day. If you urgently require the goods, please contact us so that we can confirm that goods are in stock.
• Who are LeisureBatteryShop.co.uk?
  LeisureBatteryShop.co.uk is a trading name of Tayna Ltd, company number 06329858. Tayna have a family history in batteries dating back fifty years. Specialising in mail order distribution you can rest assured that you are dealing with professionals and that your battery will be delivered on time and safely.
• How do I know what leisure battery to order?
  Your old battery should have an 'Ah' or ampere-hour figure. This figure dictates the capacity of the battery, or in layman's terms how much energy the battery can hold. It is best to replace the battery with a similar (or higher) capacity. On our website, each of our batteries details the Ah and physical dimensions of the item. Browse our batteries and ensure that you chosen battery has enough capacity and will fit into your available space. Other considerations are terminal position and terminal type. These details are clearly shown on the website also. Finally, you have the option of sealed batteries such as the Numax Sealed CXV Maintenance Free Battery range or more traditional non sealed batteries. Sealed batteries require no maintenace other than regular charging, whereas tradition style batteries have caps on top which you need to use to top the levels up with distilled water when required.
• How do I look after my new battery?
  The worst thing that you can do to a battery is leave it discharged. This causes a buildup on the plates known as sulphation which leads to the battery building up a resistance to holding a charge. Ideally you need to leave the battery connected to an optimising charger whenever not in use. This will monitor the state of charge of the battery at all times topping up when necessary.
• Can I cancel an order?
  You can cancel an order up to seven days after your battery has been delivered. The battery must be unused and in perfect resellable condition. If your goods have not been despatched we can refund you in full; however if the goods have left us we will refund you mnus carriage costs. Either send the goods back to us or conatct us and we can arrange for the goods to be collected from you at cost.
